Samurais are way cooler

It was crazy that I still had the painting skill in me after half a year. I was surprised how well I painted and blended the paint. When I first started using paint I struggled so much with blending but they say practice makes perfect right? So throughout last year I did as many paintings as possible. I surprisingly had the hang of it. The pepper painting was a work I did back in NIE class and we had to paint a realistic painting. The key to it is the contrast in light and dark. The shadows made the painting stand out while the highlights creates the 3D feel.

WORKLOAD

Look at who decided to cling to me while I was doing my work
When I got back form NIE, my siblings asked me out to a movie. Which means I had to complete my work before I went out.

The movie we watched was Rurouni Kenshin, which was based on a Japanese anime and then made into a movie. This anime was a an all time favourite to my siblings and I because it was the very first anime we watched as little kids. Watching it now saddens me because it showed how fast we've grown and that traditions such as Samurai warriors are no longer seen around modern day Japan.

You've got to admit, Samurais are way cooler than Pirates or even gunmen. They practiced long and hard to master such skill. They were even the most respected. I wish to see and meet a Samurai one day, it is under my long bucket list. The film was simply breath-taking. The director really knew how to capture the audiences. I really felt as if I was back into the era when Samurais still exist. The backgrounds they used are always showing hoe beautiful Japan is and the colors of the film really set the mood. I could watch it all over again.
