Week 1: Stressful but FILLED WITH LAUGHTER

The first day of school was a blur. Everything was different. On monday I had to learn how to work with wires, which is something I had never done before. I had to twist the wires into different shapes and curves. I already felt the pressure to complete my assignments at a specific time and date. When i got home I was famished due to fasting, tired due to the pressure and sleepy because I did'nt have enough sleep due to the excitement of the first day of school.
PRETTY COLOURS
After taking a shower I decided to color. I colored flowers, apples, a girl with a dreamcatcher on her hair and even cakes. It instantly made me feel better. The colors never disapppoint me. It made me feel like I was looking at at Rainbow. To me each color makes a drawing more interesting, like how blue makes a person feel cool, red giving off such an angry atmostphere or yellow making someone feel cheeeful because it's bright and sunny.

On the following day, I went out with my new friends during break.

I went to Arab Street to check out cheap stuffs to buy. The shops there are really unique. The shops sold old toys like chapteh, gasing and even the little blowing bubble that you create by blowing the substance tthrough a stick. But what fasinates me most was the dreamcatcher.
IT'S SOO BEAUTIFUL

Dreamcatchers is a Native American's legend where bad dreams can be deterred by the beads and the feathers will attract and allow the good dreams to pass through. When I first get to know of this legend, i was taken aback by how this tradition is still used in such modern times. I was also mesmerised by how each and every dreamcatcher is unique because it was handmade. I am proud the own such a unique piece of item, that is why I always hang it around my bag.

WHILE JOGGING......

During my free time I love to go jogging. I suddenly have thr urge to try out a new route. Things around me are starting to change so why not try and change where I jog? While jogging I realised that there are lots of playgrounds and greenery around where I live. There are different kinds of playgrounds, some are full of slides and monkey bars but there is this particular playground that attract my attention. The playground I took a picture of had funny shapes at the exterior and they had swinging ropes that you can climb sideways. If there were such a playground back when I was little how much fun and interesting it would be. Apart from that, the greenery was spectacular. The flowers are what made my jog enjoyable. The sweet colours and fresh smell really made my day.

After the jog I decided to head to the library but I was fasinated by the flooring at the bus stop.

The flooring looked smooth from afar. But at a closer look, the texture was rough and the grains were fine and small. I kept wondering why was it built that way. But I guessed they did not want anyone to trip and fall so they created such texture to create friction.

MY FAVOURITE PANTS
Since there was'nt any class on thuraday I decided to walk around town. I wore my favourite pants from Levi's which I bought about a year ago. There is actually a reason why I picked that paticular design. The blue to me signified how cheerful I am. The bright blue reflects on how I am always smiling. But the designs on the pants is what makes the whole pants complete. The complicated design show off the other mature side of me. Without these two things, there isnt a person called Aqirah.

OH MY WHAT A VIEW
When I came back i was greeted by such a spectacular view by my bedroom's window. Living in such a high rise building sure has it's perks. But after the sun set, the view became completely different.

I was in awe on how the two colours complimented each other. I was truly mesmerised that I HAD to take a picture so I can share this with someone else.
